The London Dossier

Introduction

Written by "man about town" Jean-Paul Séculaire, the London Dossier is an unapologetically personal guide to all that is cool in the UK's capital city.

The site is aimed at both Londoners and visitors alike. Here, fans of vintage black music can discover London's nightlife and where to buy that elusive dusty vinyl, espressoists can read about London's café culture, dandies can find out where to buy the sharpest threads and film buffs can find information about London's independent cinemas. On top of this there are dozens of other useful and interesting links; from scootering to modern art and much more. In short, this is the ultimate London hipster's lifestyle guide.

Inspired by Len Deighton's 1967 book of the same name, Jean-Paul's Séculaire's London Dossier brings the concept of the "alternative guidebook" into the 21st century, with a website that is updated regularly to ensure information about London's ever more rapidly changing scene is kept accurate and useful.

No need to carry a book around with you; you can read the London Dossier anywhere that has internet access: internet cafés, internet phone booths and even web-enabled mobile phones. But if you do need a paper copy for personal use, feel free to print out the required pages. Just remember to check back again regularly as information can quickly date.
